Beginners Recorder Class

Become an active player of Baroque and other traditional music! This class is for those who own a recorder but who have no background in playing it. Instruction will be given on both soprano and alto recorder. Music reading skills will be developed along with instruction in recorder playing.

Advancing Beginners Ensemble

If you are comfortable with most of the basic notes and rhythms, this ensemble will provide an opportunity for enjoying and expanding your skills. The weekly sessions will focus on technique, sight-reading, and musical expression with a wide variety of musical styles.

Beginners Workshop

We are currently developing a weekend workshop for beginners to be held in the Seattle area. This will be an opportunity for beginning and lower intermediate players to learn about technique, reading and rhythms while exploring different types of music in ensemble settings.
