Port Townsend Early Music Workshop – Registration Is Open!

Sunday, July 9 through Saturday, July 15
University of Puget Sound in Tacoma

Registration is now open for the 2023 Port Townsend Early Music Workshop.  You’ll find all the information about the workshop, including how to register, here.  We are so excited to be returning to the lovely campus of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma and to having our remarkable faculty share their unique energy and expertise for this 40th anniversary year.

Our splendid faculty will include renowned Dutch recorder virtuosa Eva Legêne, Brazilian energy ball Cléa Galhano, the scholarly and handsome Mark Davenport, beloved Seattle departees Miyo Aoki and Jonathan Oddie, long time viol favorites David Morris and Mary Springfels, and we welcome the incredibly gifted percussionist, Tacoma local Antonio Gomez.

While total immersion in a week-long residential workshop is the most beneficial for learning and shared camaraderie, we understand that taking a full week off can be challenging for some families.  The workshop offers new commuter options that allow participants to choose to register for individual courses or for the full week’s offerings.  If you wish to sign up for individual classes or be a commuter, please contact Administrative Director Jo Baim at (206) 932-4623 or jobaim@msn.com.
