Memberships and Donations keep the music going
Seattle Recorder Society relies on the dues and donations of our members to meet our ongoing expenses, including renting our meeting space for each monthly meeting and paying our conductors equitably for their expertise and professional skills.
Your annual dues of $45 qualifies you as a member in good standing for the current season (September through August). Donations above that level help us to balance our budget and provide occasional subsidies to other organizations that further our goals. If you would like to join us for a single meeting, a donation of $8 would be appreciated. Any payment level, even just the $45 annual dues, is a tax-deductible donation.
Note that children below 18 years old can attend meetings and join the SRS free of charge. Just fill out this form to provide the child’s contact information.
To clarify some confusion we’ve had lately: your payment applies to the current season (which runs September through August), regardless of when you pay, and we always ask folks to pay for their memberships early in the season. For example, if you paid for the last season in March, we still request that you pay for this season in the fall.
Please note that you can no longer update your American Recorder Society(ARS) membership through SRS. You may renew your ARS membership here.
Please use one of the methods below to pay your dues and/or make your SRS donation. You will receive an acknowledgement for your donation. Seattle Recorder Society is a registered nonprofit organization with the State of Washington and is designated as a 501(c)(3) by the IRS (Tax ID# 91-1043714). Once you have completed the on-line donation process below, you will receive an email acknowledgement.

Do you have gently-used recorders or music to donate?
We are pleased to accept donations of used recorders in good condition and sheet music for recorders and/or other early instruments. We will evaluate donations and make them available to members at reasonable prices. Donated sheet music will become part of our library for checkout by members.
Proceeds from sales of donated recorders will go into our SRS Reserve Funds, including our fund for providing scholarships to workshops. Please contact us for additional information.
