This year’s Port Townsend Workshop (in Tacoma) will host a silent and a live auction, the proceeds from which will ensure that we have a scholarship fund for future workshop participants. Our coordinating committee comprises Ellis Hillinger and Cathy Lacefield.
Do you have an item you would like to donate?
It could be an actual item like a rare CD or a book, or it could be an experience or a service. It doesn’t even have to be music related. Is there a service that you could offer that shows off your talents? Are you a baker or a pastry chef, a gardener, a masseuse, a seamstress? Anything that you think might be of interest will be welcome.
Music-related items could include that extra stand you no longer need or an instrument of value. Note cards for musicians, a tuner or metronome? As long as your item is in good shape and is something that you yourself would be willing to buy at an auction, it will be a welcome addition.
